As the airplane began to make a landing Detroit town scenery came into my eye through the window of the airplane. The town color was white and dry, and there was thinly snow. It seemed to be cold

My friend of the work invited me to the dinner of the Mexican restaurant. The restaurant had large space, though, the seats became full soon. Usually, they go out for dinner to restaurant at weekend at this area with family or friend. The custom of a dinner is depending on area. The people of local area usually have dinner at home with family. New York and loss Angers are special area! We ordered several kinds of Tacos and Margarita,

Hotel charges of Los Angeles are more expensive than SC (South Carolina). However, it is cheaper than New York. Outlines of hotel charges are SC is $70/day, Detroit is $100/day, Los Angeles is $150/day, and New Yore is $300/day. If we want to keep safety guideline, it is difficult to find cheaper than outline. So, usually, I have to stay at Extend hotel at Los Angeles to save expense. Extend hotel is the hotel that is convenient for a long-term stay. We can get them service by extra charge. Just one service is given us; cleaning up the room once a three days.

When we reached Ford museum, it was already noon, then we looked for restaurant. I wanted to eat Japanese food, for example, Udon and Sushi were best. However, we could not find Japanese restaurant, there was only one American restaurant

Many people stood in a line at backside of the yellow car in the Toyota booth. A guy was at the head of the line、then he operated the handle with looked in the yellow car. A man was at the head of the line. He was operating a handle with staring at the inside of the car. “I get it!” came in my ear, and he picked up the stuffed toy of the small red car from the pocket, so it was the UFO catcher. Of course, I tried to get it, then I got red one. It was very good souvenir to my family of this trip.
（これ、何か分ります？ 行列ができていました、先頭の人が中を覗き込んでハンドルを操作してました、“取れた!” そう、UFOキャッチャーでした、もちろん、並んで挑戦しました、かわいい赤い車 ゲット、いいお土産 になりました。）
By the way, d id you know Louis Vuitton design the special car?
The type of sport car and the type of classical car were displayed at super car area. I did not check how much that was, because, it was the dream car for me. It was pity that my garage was small for both cars. How about you? Which type do you choose to your garage?

The neighborhood has already been dark when I went to the outside.
I went to the car in a hurry, it was colder than noon, breath was white、and the street light and the light of the store already had been on.
The distant sky dyed pink and red by the sunset, then the view from roof top was very lonely.
（ 帰り道は既に暗かった、息は白く、さらに寒く、車へ急いだ、街灯も店の明かりも少ない、 遠くの空が、ピンクと赤に染まっていた、屋上からの眺めはなんとなく寂しい!)
The street light and pedestrian are less than the Japan at downtown. And, the air was dark, dry, cold, but the space was wider than the Japan. So, I felt little vigor.
You know that GM, Chrysler and Ford were called Big3u in the world until several years ago? But, it was changed to the Detroit 3 now. As for the amount of production of the American car manufacturer, the expansion of the Asian manufacturer which decreases every year is a cause. As for the amount of production of the Detroit 3 has decreased year by year, because, the cause is the expansion of Asian maker. Specially, Korean maker car price is lower than Japanese car, then, it is expanding these days. I think that the Tokyo Auto Show was Bigger than Detroit show. They don't approve it.
Will I be able to come next year?
（町は、日本より人通りも少なく、空気は暗く、冷たく、乾いている、なんとなく元気がない感じ！ 最近まで世界のBIG3とGM, クライスラー、フォードは言われていましたが、今はデトロイトのBIG3に変わりました、アジアも自動車メーカーの伸張で彼らの生産量は年々減少しています、特に韓国の車は安くて人気が出てきています。
東京モーターショーの規模のほうが大きいかな! 彼らは認めませんがね！ 来年はこれるかな？)

１/２ Visited the down town of Detroit and Auto Show
(飛行機の窓からデトロイトの町が見えてきた、薄ら雪、白く乾いた色、寒そう！)
Already six years passed from my first visit of Detroit, and this visit was twelfth. Then it was the fourth time investigation of Detroit Auto Show. The people said that the weather condition was good and warm than regular season, however, it was colder than Japan condition these days, in my case, I could not stay outside over 5 minutes.
There were many old buildings, and new buildings of General Mortars head office at down town. It was in front of the COBO (exhibition hall). The contrast was interesting and strange.
（今回でモータショーは四回目、デトロイトは１２回目位かな、例年より暖かいらしいが、五分と外にはいられない、やはり日本よりはるかに寒い、古いビルとモダンなゼネラルモータース本社ビル、ダウンタウンのコントラストは奇妙な感じがする）
I found the special super car at MAZDA booth, it seemed to fly、it look like a plane, don’t it?
(マツダのブースでスペシアルスパーカーを見付けました､飛びそうじゃ有りませんか!)
A circular building is a stadium, which is changed to food court during the Auto Show. There were many food stores, you can get all junk food and drink of typical lunch of USA, Attention to your health. Please! If you try to eat. Light side building is the exhibition hall COBO, It was the name of famous mayor.
(円形のブルはスタジャム、ショーの期間はフィードコートに早代わり、アメリカを代表するジャンクフィードがひととおり食べられるが健康には要注意な昼食かな!, 右手前がCOBO会場です。有名な市長の名前だそうです！)
Auto Show had 4 stages, first stage was a press preview for three days, Second stage was the day of a charity preview for a day, ticket was $400. Need black tie!
Third stage was the day of an industry preview for two days, ticket was $75.
Last stage was the day of a public show for 9 days, ticket was $12.
My visit day was the day of an Industry preview, I could see enough, because it was not crowded. Several booths prepared of the special party at night to invite many big stores.
（モータショーは四部構成、先ずプレスデー、これはなかなか入れない、次が、チャリティーデー、地元の有名人多数参加、正装用注意！ 入場料＄４００、三番目が産業界デー、多くの製造業（競合他社OK）関係が参加、企業登録必要！ 入場料＄７５．最後がパブリックデー、一般入場OK 入場料＄１２、）昨年同様今回も三番目の＄７５で入場できた、少し割高だが、ゆっくり見られる,子供などは原則いない。
会場では夜のスペシャルパーテー（残念ながら招待者限定）の準備が進んでいた。
アメリカの場合、販売店が車をが先ずまとめて購入する、メーカーの顧客は販売店だから、この日が重要な日なのです！）

It seemed a toy machine or something. And, I wanted to take a photograph.
But, In that case, I had to take a shot quickly, because, I was warned when taking the photograph in other supermarket. (Heaven forbid!）
(これはなんだ？ オーストリア・ウインのデパートの食料品売り場で面白い物を秋に見つけました。透明の箱にオレンジが詰まっていて、玩具の機械のようで、写真を撮っておく事にしたが、前に同じような店で注意されたことがあり、急ぎ隠し撮り！全体が入ってない、取り直し不可、 くわばら、くわばら！)
That is the vending machine of fresh orange juice. As first, you opened a valve, then, a machine will move and an orange will be pressed. A price of about 200cc bottle was about 1.3 Euro. Usually, I am surprised many times by Europeans' way of thinking. This time, the machine was very simple, high sense, and intelligible design. So, the store was near the opera house and a little bit expensive. It gave me a funny time.
(この機械はオレンジジュースの自動絞り販売機です、最初コックをひねると機械が動いてオレンジが押し搾られます。ワンボトル約1.3ユーロ（200円）。
ヨーロッパのデザインの斬新さにはよく驚かされます、シンプルで・センスが良くて・解りやすいデザインでした、オペラハウスのすぐ近くの店にあり、楽しませてくれました。 味はご想像にまかせます？）

Canadian Pacific Snowplow
I got a little excited, as I saw it, because I imagined the scene that the locomotive was plowing powerfully the snow at the snowfield. This model was actually operating to plow between Canada and New England from 1923 to 1990. If I can, I want to see the scene of actually running

When I was a boy, I could know many things about UAS by a Newsreel and Movie. For example, Western drama, Musical show, Home comedy, and War films. We saw the dream of the future on such scenes, and I was surprised in many things. Specially, I remembered that it seemed that all things were bigger than Japan. I yearned for them! All things of America were big because America was large. And, usually, we feel not so big, because the space of USA is larger than in Japan. That was really biｇ！
They have a pneumatic system that the wing and blade control by a air pressure to be not to damage of rail.
(子供の頃、アメリカの情報はは映画間でのニュースや映画で入ってきました、年がばれますが。西部劇・ミュジカル・コメディー・戦争映画。見るもの全てが夢のようでした、何でも日本のよりでかくて！ すべてにあこがれました！
アメリカはで小さく見えても、日本では大きい、アメリカは空間が広いから、日本で見るより小さく感じるんだろうけど！、これはほんとにでかかったです！
それと、羽や刃でレールを傷つけない、空圧のクッションシステムを備えているそうです、すごい！）

（友人がご苦労さん会を、メキシコレストランで開いてくれた、広い店内がすぐ満席になった、この地域では週末は外食するものらしい、地方へいくと家族と家で食べるらしい、同じアメリカでも地域により違うんだなあ、と驚き！ 外食する地域が特別なんだ。 マルガリータとタコスを試すことにした。）
After a while、Margarita was carried by big attractive guy. He shook the shaker at front of our table, after that , poured my glass of the margarita. “ let’s toast our good job and our health! Cheers!”
At first, he served Green salad. Afterward, Chicken Tacos, Meat Tacos, and other one dish were brought to our table. I forgot the name of other one dish. The Mexico food was very delicious. I think that it was suitable for Japanese people than USA food. My room was small; I could not try to eat a dessert. I could enjoy the Mexican dinner with friends the before day of departure. I want to say thanks to my friends again.
(かっこいいお兄さんが、マルガリータをシエイクして、グラスに注いでくれた、ミートタコスとチキンタコスと後一つがまもなくやってきた。 想像以上に美味しかった！ アメリカ料理より日本人向きだよ！ アメリカ人もアメリカ人向きと思っているよ！ きっと！

They do not have a restaurant, and then we get no breakfast and no coffee. However, the distinctive point is that the room has a kitchen system.
（ロサンゼルスのホテルは最低＄150/日・サウスカロライナは＄70/日・デトロイトは＄100/日・ニュヨークは＄300/日、安全なところは最低これぐらい、ロサンゼルスでは経費節約のために長期滞在者向けのホテルを利用することが多い、なにを頼むのも有料だけれど、キッチン（食器・器具・冷蔵庫・電子レンジ）有り。 ）
And, there are several shops of many Japanese foods and any kinds of materials. As a result, we can cook a dinner and breakfast if we want to cook Japanese dish. Hotel charge is about $100/day. I recommend it if you want to stay a long-term at USA. And they have a laundry; they provide an ironing board and an iron. In my case, usually, I used only electric oven to warm. “I have to prepare to return to Japan!”
（近く、車で１０〜２０分、には、日本食材のスパーもあり、できる方は、和食が自分で作れますよ！ コインランドリーも有り、各部屋にはアイロン台、アイロン常設、＄100/日程度、長期滞在の場合は大きく節約できます！ まめな人にはお勧め！

“Well, it is OK” “This is USA”
（ミューアムで昼食をとることにした、うどんとか寿司が食べたかったが、アメリカのレストランしかない、まあ、いいか、ここはアメリカだ!）
My friend had hot dog and I had hot sandwich for lunch. Hot dog and hot sandwich are kind of typical American lunch. “Wow! It seems too big for my room!” “This is 1.5 times as large as that of Japan” I thought that I would be able to eat only half size. Surprisingly, I and my friend have eaten all. It is said that the stomach swells like a balloon -- that is right -- it seemed that my stomach already swelled very much in one week. Cautionary zone!
（友達はホットドッグを私はホットサンドイッチを食べることにしたが、“ワオー、私の胃袋にはでかすぎるよ！” ”日本の１．５倍はあるね！“
でも、驚くなかれ、全部たいらげた、胃袋は風船のように膨らむらしい、確かに、私の胃袋も一週間で膨らんだのかな! 要注意ゾーン! )

In 1953, the Oscar Mayer Company began to promote their hot dogs on the streets of Chicago with the very first Wienermobile.
The only 1952 model in its original design, the Wienermobile in our collection served as
a prototype for Oscar Mayer’s more recent 1988 fleet.
The Wienermobile reflect promotion that brings together two of America’s greatest loves-car and hot dogs.

Little gentleman came into my eye, as I looked behind back.
He was pushing the big train herder.
How robust he was!
Grandfather caught his lovely grandson by his camera.
The train did not move, of course!
Soon, he looked back at the grandfather, and smiled.
“can not!” what pretty he was!
(“押して！ 押して！ の声が飛び込んできた、振り返ると小さな紳士が特大の汽車を一生懸命押している、たくましい姿をおじいさんが写している、もちろん動かない、少しすると紳士は振り返り“動かないよ！”と微笑んだ。)

（アメリカのビジネスマンの出張の朝は早い！)
I think that two reasons are there. At first, usually they have to move long distance by car or a plane. Each company and a factory are very away and there are time differences. It takes at least two hours; usually a meeting began from 9 am, if the meeting do not finish then the meeting continue with having a lunch.And, because, they do not like overtime work, usually they have a dinner with them family at home, except special area and special sales staff. So, callers have to finish the work on time, it is second reason, Usually, after breakfast, they have a small meeting with partner and check E-mail and go out for a battle.
その理由は、とにかく広い、時差もあり、車で２時間の移動は短いほう、会議は9時から始まる、終わらないと昼ごはんを食べながらつづける、そして午前中に終わらせる、なざなら、家族と家で夕食をとるために残業は原則できない（家族の同意が必要）、高級ホワイトカラーをのぞいて。
朝食の後、軽く打ち合わせ、新聞、E-mailに目を通し、彼らは仕事へ向かう。）
Commonly, hotel have dining room for breakfast, some kinds of coffee, milk, juice, egg, bread, bun, fruit, cereal, steak , are there.
There is a same point though contents vary in rank of the hotel.
My remarks are below.(The picture waｓ my dish.)
I have never drunk such distasteful coffee！
I have never smelled such a bad aroma！.
I have never eaten such salty steak and toasted bacon！
I have never drunk such sweeter juice！
I have never eater such sugary bun！
（ホテルの朝食は、コーヒー・ミルク・ジュース・卵・パン・菓子パン・果物・セリアル・ソーセージ・ベイコン・ホテルのランクによります・・・ 写真は私の選らんな朝食です！
美味しくないコーヒー

甘ったるいジュース と 菓子パン
私の感想です！ 血圧・肥満は問題大！！！！！！
