Knapsack of Father’s Day
When I began to swim, I could not swim hard, because I had not swum for long term. My physical condition was improved a little during the one year. I learned how to swim about the breaststroke, the backstroke, and the crawl stroke already. I am challenging the butterfly stroke these days.
It is really difficult to me, but I want to muster it till end of this year. I am glad to get such a great present from my lovely daughters. Thank you very much for my daughter’s great present. I am going to gym for my health carrying the knapsack every week

Delayed lunch was Sanuki noodle
Mr Tanaka：・・・・・・・・・
The key of the Udon is a firm noodle. Just before the meal, noodle boiled in the moment is best.
Mr Sato:・・・・・・・・・
It is not wrong,, but, it is not correct. Soup is the key, stock of a dried bonito and dried kelp are must to take the effort. And, a soy sauce, sweat sake, and a small amount of salt are made good taste of the soup.
Mr Yamamoto:・・・・・・・・・・・
it is not enough answer, too. The topping is important, fine deep-fried Tempura and a chopped spring onion will give us a satisfaction of taste more.
Needles to say, a mixture of red pepper and other spices is must.
Me：・・・・・・・・・・
The harmony of the Udon flavor is made with the delicious flavor of them.
The Udon is completed with them. It is correct answer, isn’t it?
田中さん： うどんは麺が決めてだよ！ 釜揚げが良いね！
佐藤さん： それもそうだけど、決め手は汁だよ！
鰹節と昆布の効いた、醤油、みりん、隠し味に塩を少しきかせたのが良いね！
山本さん： それだけでは十分じゃないよ、カラット揚げたてんぷら、
きざんだねぎがあるとよりいいね., 七味は絶対だよ！
私 ： 全部の味の組が合わさってうどんが出来るんだ！ そうですよね?
Do you like Udon noodles?
In case of me, Udon is one of favorite food.
Already, the time hands show me 2 o’clock, but, I could not take lunch yet.
When I reached big intersection, many signboards of restaurant came into the view.
Many kinds of cooking were there, and I could find the banner of “讃岐うどん￥２８０円“
I felt that the Udon of cheap price was very good lunch to me.
And, I thought, I would be able to eat it very quickly.
It was a self-system restaurant, was not busy.
I ordered a noodle, tempura and a rice ball.
Old lady made the Udon., I picked up the tempura and rice ball on the tray by myself.
The cost of all of them was \520 yen.
The noodle, soup, tempura, and spice made good flavor, very good taste.
I got enough satisfaction, want to come there again.
It was my lunch of one cold winter day.
(うどんはお好きですか？ 私は好物の一つです。
既に二時を過ぎているのに昼ごはんはまだ、交差点のそばで幾つかの看板を発見、讃岐うどん￥２８０の看板が目にとまった、安い事はいいことです、時間も無い事だし、セルフだけど、良いか！ 店はすいていました、うどんを頼んでてんぷらとおにぎりを追加、全部で￥５２０． うどん、出汁、おにぎり、てんぷらも美味しかった、又、来てみたい、寒い冬の日の昼ご飯でした。）

As I went into the usual tea room, Teacher Scott and one student chatted already. At first, I said hello with” long time no see”, and sat on the chair. As I joined in the chat, other two students came.

Also the daily job builds up my stress these days. Always I must be calm, I must tell me to be calm. Usually, when stress builds up, I come back to the home early; I take a bath, I am healed by delicious food and wine. If I have a time, I go to the gym and to swim. A moderate exercise is good for getting rid of stress
（毎日ストレスがたまるなアー、冷静に、落ち着いてと自分に言い聞かせるが！
そんな日は早く帰って、お風呂に入り、うまいものとワイン、それがいい！
時間があれば、ジムで泳ぐのもよし、）
As for that day. I went a supermarket to buy something to drink on way home. They happened to be the day of discount of fruit. I became the feeling which got a profit of something. And, I bought many fruit. I think that my stress drove me to do so. I stressed that I got a profit. However, my wife was a little amazed. Other stress came again.
（その日は、帰り道にスーパーに寄った、たまたま果物の安売りの日だったので、得をしたような気分になり、買って帰った、ストレスがそうさせたのかも？ 妻に得をしたと強調したが、彼女はあきれていた！）

Hot-pot Oden
”Nabe” is good cooking on cold day too.
Yesterday was very cold; my wife said that “Oden” would be good for dinner.
That was right. With hot-pot, it would be better, I answered.
With this thing and that our dinner became “hot-pot Oden” last night
(寒い日はおでんが一番です、鍋料理もいいですね、昨日は大変寒かったので、女房が
おでんにしましょうよって、そうだね、おでん鍋がいいね！）
How do you say "Oden" in English? I checked on dictionary. The answer was Japanese pot-au-feu. However, pot-au-feu is not an exact translation. Other dictionary gave me an explanation that “vegetables, fish Dumplings and various other articles of food stewed in a thin soy soup, and served hot." It was difficult, but, “Oden” was very good taste and hot last night.
(おでんを英語でなんて言うんでしょうね！ 辞書には”日本のポトフ“と書いてある、何かしっくりこない。 ほかの辞書では、野菜、魚肉いりゆでただんご、いろいろな材料を薄い醤油味でとろ火で煮て、あったかくして食べる！ なかなか難しい！ でもおでんは温かくって、おいしかったです。）

My last class of last year was about three months ago. It was a first lesson for me in this year. It was difficult to understand the English comment of teacher, as he spoke. I needed a while to change my mode from Japanese to English. Because, my last class was about three weeks ago.
.Already, I forgot something about English. After a while, I could understand gradually little by little. My goal is fluency speaks, it is difficult for me, but I am tried to do it. I will do my best!

Small birthday party
（1月2日は、私の誕生日。 先ず、明けましておめでとうで、乾杯！・・・・・・・・・・・？
（早くから、予約をしておいたので、割安に購入でき、大変美味しかったです！）

I was fifty……years young! I will do my best this year,too.

Makiko-san bought me two bottles of red wine. It was a present of my birthday. Small bottle is an ice wine. We wanted to try to taste the ice wine then we bought it, did you remember that the ice wine was very good flavor at Germany? To visit you again is one of our targets of this year. I am looking forward to seeing you again! I could not know whether you would become busy. I hope that you will become very busy. Thank you for your present of the muffler. Take it easy. My dish was a kind of the salmon terrine, I think.

I cooked it to Japanese taste with a slice ginger, small cut cabbage, and sake. I ate it with lemon batter sauce、without cooling. The recipe was measured suitable. The fish was fresh and expensive! It was sumptuous low materials! That was a cooking style of guy! I though the taste was very good, but, an impression of my daughter was “ so- so” Occasionally, I try to make new cooking for my family when I get the time. Especially, new idea excites me.
I do not know whether my family wants to eat my cooking. Usually, it takes about 2 hours to make several dishes, after shopping. After that, they eat about 10 minutes or 20 minutes. It was all too soon. But, the time makes us happy and good communication for us. Recently, I could not make new idea of cooking. So, I will get many idea of cooking from the book. Thanks Happy blue bird. See you!
（和風味にするために、生姜と、キャベツとお酒を加えレモンバターで暖かくして食べました。レサイプ、分量は適当に、魚は新鮮で高いもの、贅沢な材料、それが男の料理だ！
出来は上々と思ったが、娘の評価は“まあ。まあね？”
時々、時間のあるときに料理します、 特に、新しいアイデアを見つけると挑戦します。家族には迷惑かも？ 買い物に行き、まあ、二時間ほど掛けて作りますが、食べるのは２０分程度、あっという間です、でも、楽しいコミニュケーションのとき！ 最近、新しいネタがなくて、マンネリ気味でしたが、又、助かりそうです。

Set up
The new computer equipment came to my house last week. I tried to set up with my pride.
〈先週、新しい機器が我が家にやってきました、意地でセットアップに挑戦しましたが）
At pm 11:00, “Error 82-------“, the same indication of error came on the screen again. I fought from the evening until now, in order to set up the system of the new computer equipment. However, error, error, error --------, I did not see why it was so. Why, Why, Why.-----? I took little breaks. ----------- So, it was a tea break. I was becoming sleepy I tried to make set up again, I read text book more. It was really difficult to understand about explanation of the book quickly.
At am６:00, “ OK ---Completed”, the word appeared in my eyes.
At last, I could complete to set up the new system. So, I can watch my house TV at every place on Internet.
(11時、エラー発生、同じエラーが何回も繰り返し、エラー、エラー、エラー。何で？、何で？、何で？ 少し休憩、お茶を飲んで、少し眠いけど、テキストを読み直して、もういとど挑戦！
でも、テキストの内容が頭になかなか入らない。
明け方６時ごろ、接続 OK！ やった！とうとう接続できた!！ これで世界中どこからでも我が家のTVが見られる！感激！）
With this thing and that the morning came. I did not get enough sleep at last night. I can do anything by personal computer, though. I am not specialist about computer. I need the system that can set up more automatically and simply.
I am sleepy. I won! But, It took about one night to find a small mistake. It was the simple system, wasn't it?!
〈そんなこんなで、朝になりました、昨夜は寝られませんでした、コンピュータでいろんな事ができる、ワード、エクセル、でも専門家じゃない！ もつと簡単のシンプルに接続できるソフトが欲しいよ！
眠い、でも私は勝った！ 何であんな簡単な事が解らなかったんだ! 簡単なシステムじゃないか、後で思えば！）
