The hydrangea of Mimurodo-temple
Mimurodo-ji is the temple that is famous of the flower at Uji-city of Kyoto prefecture.
An azalea, a rosebay, an iris, and a hydrangea、ETC. I guess that you have heard more than once. Specially, we often hear the name at this rainy season, because the flowers of hydrangea are full of the garden. The rainy season is the best season for the flower of hydrangea, isn’t it? It is said that there are 30 kind of the hydrangea flowers and ten thousand roots or more. I had never visited to there yet, though the temple is East Side of the Uji-city. Of course, I thought that I wanted to go there, if I have a chance. The weather was keeping cloudy still on Sunday noon though the forecaster said it would change to rain Sunday afternoon, I thought it was the chance to go there. After lunch, I headed the car for the temple. It took about 10 minutes by car from Uji-city to the temple.
(三室戸寺は花で有名な宇治の寺です、菖蒲、ツツジ、石楠花、紫陽花、など。一度は聞いた事ありませんか？ 特に梅雨の時期は紫陽花が庭いっぱいに咲き、とても綺麗です。
やはり紫陽花は雨の時期が一番綺麗ですね、何でも一万株以上30種類以上に紫陽花が咲いているのだそうで。場所は宇治の東側、今回がはじめての訪問でした、天気予報で日曜の午後は雨になるといっていたのですが、正午にまだ雨が降らなかったので昼食の後に思い切って出かけた、宇治市内から車で10分程度で、あんがい近かった。）
The car park fee was 500-yen and Entrance fee was 500-yen too. Many car and bus were in the car park. And the entrance was crowded more than my image. I supposed that I would be able to have expectation about it, because such a many people came. As I went into the garden, many hydrangeas came into my view. And the air was wet. It seemed that all plant was keeping fresh with enough moisture. Much flower of hydrangea was shining more brightly than other plants. I had never seen such many flower of hydrangea. There were many colors of the flower and many different shapes of the flower. It was mysterious scenery, wonder view. It was really beautiful.
(駐車場は５００円、寺の入場料も５００円、バスや多くの車で想像よりも混んでいた、こんなに多くの訪問客が来るのだからと、期待感が膨らんだ、庭に近づくにつれて、沢山の紫陽花の花が目に飛び込んできた、空気は少し湿っていて、適度な湿気があり、プラントは生き生きとしているように見えた、紫陽花は中でもひときわ輝いてた、こんなに沢山の紫陽花を見るのは初めてだ、なんと神秘的ですばらしい眺めで、綺麗なんだ！)
The hydrangea flower look very big size, but, it is not correct, each flower is really tiny. The calyx of the hydrangea flower looks like the petal, the real flower was really small, which flower at center of the calyx. Flower color depends on the pH of the ground, as litmus paper color was changed by pH. We can see the beautiful flower until end of this month. If you have the chance to visit Uji-city, you should go there to see.
BTW, the lotus was in fat bud. It seemed that they would have blossom soon. My next report of Minurodo-ji will be the lotus.
(紫陽花の花は一見非常に大きい、でも本当の花は極めて小さい、花びらの様に見えているのは本当はガクの部分で花は真ん中の小さなところ、花の色は土のペーハーにより変わる、リトマス試験紙と同じ理屈だそうだ、花はこの月いっぱい楽しめるようだ、宇治市へお越しのおりは、是非行ってみてください。
ところで、蓮のつぼみを発見、すぐ咲きそうでした、次回は三室戸寺のレポートは蓮の花になりそうです。）

紫陽花がこんなに魅力的な花だったって今年初めて気づきました。
あと同じ紫陽花が色がだんだん変わってくることも、今年気づきました。
いろいろ発見があって楽しいですね。

What a beautiful hydrangea! Many beautiful colors make us happy.
The lotus is also amazing. The temple and the lotus, these combination are very heavenly, aren't they?

I guessed, It looked like the heaven to ancient people.
I am looking forward to seeing the lotus, which is in bloom.
