三陸のトマト Sanriku-chiyo Tomato

I ordered a tomato in internet. When I checked a “tuitter”, an address and a word, which was fully ripe tomato, came into my eyes. The address was http://www.rakuten.co.jp/cook/125972/1848144/.Somehow, I visited the sight, and then I happened to see the red tomato and the simple faces. It seemed that they were making the smile; I felt it was not natural. It seemed that they were appealing about something. The tomato was produced at Minami-Sanriku-chiyo of Miyagi prefecture. Ono-san tomato, which was grown with non-chemical. It seemed very nice.
This system is very good, because we can see the them face, in other word, them utilize of the money is very clear. TV news said that the mostly donation money had not delivered even now. And the government decided the ununderstandable standard of the sufferers. I decided that to buy the product of Sanriku is my best support.
And the little donation. I am looking forward to seeing the Tometo. Surely, It will be sweet.

That is a nice way to support those truly in need.

Actually, many in the US are surprised at the lack of governmental response to the people who were hit hard by the Tsunami.

Although Hurricane Katrina wasn't handled as efficiently as possible...our Federal Government couldn't, by Constitutional decree, respond to the State without being asked to intervene by the Governor of that state.

However, Japan is not under that restriction. We, in the West, think of the Japanese as being very efficient in organization and of effectiveness in the application of group cohesiveness. Japan is famous for this.

That is why we look at the lack of governmental effectiveness in such disasters as dumbfounding.

The sad thing is that contingencies should have already been planned for such events...supplies already laid out and in storage.

That is what one of the chief functions of the JDF is...rapid response to a variety of situations...and the supplying of tens of thousands to meet that demand...in a few days time.

I know....I was in the US Army. It is done on a regular basis.

Sorry...I just feel bad for all the innocent who have suffered needlessly....both here and there.

Thanks for your visiting and comments.
Many Japanese people are getting angry very much for the present governments.
We did not trust a politician and governments for a long time, because they had been deceiving. And then many people wanted to change of regime.
But, this disaster showed us them true color. I think it is the calamity of Japan.
All of the politician’s top priority matter is keeping their privilege; the government official’s purpose is the same.
Both the Government party and the Opposition party have the same stripe.
They are spending all the days to a struggle for power. We have to be patient for the present.
It seemed that they forgot about the tunami.

Please love Japanese people、except the politicians.
See you! (´Д`)゛

Ps: I love USA citizens.

Many in the USA were especially surprised when, in the aftermath of the Tsunami...there was no looting...that people were still civil...well behaved...calm (I already knew there wouldn't be any).

The Japanese people are greatly respected around the world because of these and other qualities. Your ability to adapt and flourish..through applied intelligence, working together for the common good, a high work ethic without complaint...and for your indomitable fighting spirit. The Japanese women are thought to be some of the most feminine, graceful and desirable women in the world.

The Japanese culture is revered for its great courtesy toward others...and for its reverence for society as a whole. This is Japan's greatest strength...the ability to work together effectively.

We see the result of your work ethic in your products. Japanese products are thought of as the best in so many areas.

We think of the Japanese people as our Asian brothers. We see the Japanese culture as one of efficiency and effectiveness in practice and one of great sensitivity in its beauty.

PS...we are kind of upset with our politicians also. :)

Thanks for your comment Again.
I think that the peoples of Sanriku area are very patient.
They are great!
They are more persevering than town side people, Osaka or Tokyo?
Because they have been living in the harsh environment condition for a long time!
Originally, Japan is the island, which is on the volcanic chain.
Usual, we are liable to forget.
I hope, the politicians should be conscious that we are living on the same island.
It is called Japan.
See you! (´〇`)/
